A statement frequently made about ID cards is "if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear". Ignore for the moment the fact that there will be errors in the database (so even if you have nothing to hide it may look like you have) consider this - if everyone was naked there would be less crime. Where do you hide a weapon when you're naked? So, do you want to strip for security and make the world a safer place or do you value your privacy more than that?
